The Sui blockchain platform has seen an increase in activity, driven mainly by its new web3 game, Sui 8192. This game not only boosts blockchain engagement but also contributes to the upward trend of Sui's native token, SUI.
According to the SUI scan, Sui 8192 has contributed to the transaction peak on the network. In the last 24 hours alone, the game has conducted 258 million transactions on the Sui blockchain.

The mechanics of Sui 8192 involve players collecting points by merging two similar tiles in a grid. When they have accumulated 8192 points, the game ends, and a non-fungible token (NFT) is minted on the blockchain, serving as proof of their achievement.
This experience is introducing more and more people to the world of blockchain and NFTs in an accessible way. However, Sui 8192 is not the only game in town. Sui also hosts other notable titles such as the high-fantasy action games Abyss World, Cosmocadia, and Orange Comet.
Following the upward trend: SUI token reaching new heights
Sui's native blockchain token, SUI, has been experiencing an upward trend with a 10.5% increase in value in just one week. It jumped from $0.63 on July 10th to a peak of $0.72, representing an increase of nearly 2% in the last 24 hours alone.
At the same time, the trading volume of SUI has nearly doubled in the past week, rising from $33 million to a whopping $76 million in just 24 hours.
Today, the market capitalization of SUI has risen from $426 million to $461 million. With the steady growth of the Sui blockchain platform and the increasing popularity of its gaming universe, the upward trend of SUI may be more than just a temporary surge.
