Virtual horse racing game Photo Finish LIVE has announced the launch of the Pick’Em Challenge Series, scheduled to occur every Thursday and Saturday. This series will coincide with each Photo Finish LIVE season, featuring races from various horse racing tracks within the game's ecosystem. Participants will have the opportunity to compete for a range of prizes, including daily, weekly, and seasonal rewards.
The daily prizes in the Pick’Em Challenge Series are divided into three categories: Overall Winners, Top Daily Winners, and Beat Bryce. Overall Winners will have the chance to win a horse if they correctly guess 50% of the winners on any given day. The top daily winner, who guesses the most winners, will receive a custom referral code and entry into a weekly prize draw where they can also win a free horse. Players who outperform Bryce's predictions will also have the chance to win a free horse in the weekly prize draw.
To be eligible for the weekly prize draw, participants must wager at least 800 $DERBY throughout the week on picks in Photo Finish races. For seasonal prizes, players need to make picks totaling at least 2000 $DERBY throughout the entire season, with 800 $DERBY placed specifically on the Virtual Kentucky Derby. The top seasonal prize is a free female horse, awarded at the end of the season to eligible daily winners and players who beat Bryce at least once during the season.
Photo Finish LIVE recently launched Season 15 with updates aimed at leveling the playing field for horses across different grades. These updates include rescheduled events to assist newcomers in choosing the appropriate races for their horses and addressing issues related to the underrepresentation of lower-end horses in benchmark races. Looking forward to Season 16, the Photo Finish team plans to optimize and expand benchmark races, with a focus on undercard events.
